Honoring Brene Brown and her Movement for Wholehearted Living

By Val Boyko • October 4th, 2011

Over the past year, Brene Brown has built an authenticity movement on her ordinary courage blog and we wanted to create a space here to honor her work.

Pledge to Wholehearted Living“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone; I am enough.

It’s going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging.”

Our journey as mother whisperers is to open our hearts so we accept our imperfect selves … and our imperfect mothers. When we are wholehearted we will find peace.

Brene Brown’s research looks at human shame and worthiness and then shines a light on becoming resilient, authentic and living wholeheartedly.

Brene Rocks!
